How is it better to treat hydrosalpinx?

Patient's question:

I had a fallopian tube examination and found that there is fluid accumulation in my fallopian tubes. Is this condition serious? Can I not get pregnant anymore? I am really very distressed. Please ask: What is the best treatment for tubal hydrops?

Doctor's answer:

Hello,
1. Chronic tubo-ovarian inflammation: When chronic tubo-ovarian inflammation recurs, the fimbriae of the fallopian tube can become due to inflammation. The leakage fluid and exudate in the fallopian tube cavity gradually accumulate to form hydrosalpinx. Some hydrosalpinx may also evolve from tubal abscess. The pus cells and purulent tissue originally in the lumen are compressed and completely cleared by phagocytes, gradually transforming the pus into clear, watery fluid. Some hydrosalpinx is not caused by tubal inflammation but is secondary to post-miscarriage surgery of the fallopian tube.
2. Fallopian tube fimbriae self-locking: Complete self-locking of the fallopian tube fimbriae can lead to tubal blockage, interfering with childbirth. Even incomplete self-locking can damage the fallopian tube mucosa due to hydrosalpinx. Severe hydrosalpinx may even completely lose the normal function of the fallopian tube, causing it to reverse and result in bleeding.
