What are some good methods for treating uterine prolapse?

Patient's question:

I've been feeling unwell these days, but I'm not sure what's wrong. Could you please tell me: What are the effective methods for treating uterine prolapse?

Doctor's answer:

Uterine prolapse may lead to the following complications:
1. Most cases are accompanied by urinary obstruction or incontinence.
2. Women with uterine prolapse often experience vaginal prolapse, or may also have cystocele (bladder prolapse) or rectocele (rectal prolapse).
3. Acute uterine prolapse can recur with severe peritoneal irritation symptoms (e.g., sharp lower abdominal pain, pale complexion, cold sweat, nausea, and vomiting). Statistics show that about 1 in 4 women postpartum suffer from varying degrees of uterine prolapse, among whom 10% remain asymptomatic. Some patients experience a sensation of control and downward descent in the lower abdomen, vagina, and perineum, feeling a mass falling out of the vagina. Initially, symptoms worsen during walking or exertion but disappear when lying down.
