Patient's question:
Please help the doctor answer how to treat endometrial hyperplasia, and hope the expert can give a detailed answer. Thank you.Doctor's answer:
(1) Ovulation-inducing drugs: Ovulation-inducing drugs include clomiphene and human chorionic gonadotropin. They are generally used for patients with mild atypical hyperplasia of the endometrium. The dosage of clomiphene is 50–100 mg, once daily, taken on days 5–9 of the cycle. If necessary, the medication period can be extended by 2–3 days.(2) Progestin drugs: Progestin drugs can inhibit estrogen-induced endometrial hyperplasia. Their mechanism of action:
① By inhibiting the secretion of hypothalamic and pituitary gonadotropins, they cause serum E2 levels to rise to the same level as the early follicular phase.
② Increase the estrogen nuclear receptor levels in the endometrium.
③ Inhibit DNA synthesis in the endometrium.
