Features: Design Basics is a foundational education course designed for design learners. It aims to develop learners' thinking, creative, and hands-on abilities, ultimately achieving the transformation from concept to practice. Design Basics training helps aspiring design students break free from existing habitual thinking patterns, gradually shifting their "natural person" thinking state to a "designer" thinking state. Design Basics covers four major aspects: Design Basics focusing on observation, aesthetic, shaping, and expressive abilities; Design Basics centered on form, function, scale, material, and craftsmanship technology; National Culture Basics focusing on patterns, decoration, and the study of traditional Chinese culture; and Design Theoretical Basics centered on design history, design theory, and design methods. Design sketching is a sketching form guided by design concepts. It is a practical activity involving various sketching and creative practices with the teaching objective of art and design.
