Features: The "Lanting Solo Manuscript with Postscript Fragments" contained in this volume, also known as "Thirteen Postscripts to Lanting on the Way to Meng Zhao," was created in the third year of the Zuda era (1310). Zhao Mengzhao, commissioned by the Emperor Wuzong, traveled from Wu to Dadu. During his journey, the elder monk of the Dugu Temple gifted him a copy of the "Dingwu Lanting Preface." Upon receiving this calligraphy, Zhao considered it a treasured find and cherished it deeply. Inspired by his passion, he wrote thirteen postscripts in succession, which not only praised the exquisite artistry of Wang Xingzhe's Lanting Preface but also elaborated on his insights and experiences in calligraphy. Regrettably, this original manuscript was destroyed in a lightning strike, though it was not completely consumed. It also contains postscripts by renowned scholars such as Wu Yue, Zhu Dunyu, Qian Xuan, Xian Yu, and Ke Jiensi, undoubtedly holding significant historical value.
