Patient's question:
I am 18 years old, and I currently have a feeling of dizziness and nausea. I am very worried that I might be pregnant. Is dizziness and nausea a sign of pregnancy?Doctor's answer:
Based on the symptoms you described, it does indeed seem like you might be pregnant. You can take a early pregnancy test. Alternatively, you can use a pregnancy test kit first. Mifepristone is an anti-progestogen drug, which has the effects of terminating early pregnancy, preventing implantation, inducing menstruation, and promoting cervical maturation. This medication should not be used casually; it can only be used under the guidance of a doctor, as it has side effects. 1. Some women who take the medication after early pregnancy may experience mild nausea, dry heaving, dizziness, fatigue, lower abdominal pain, rectal fullness, and uterine bleeding. 2. Some women may experience a recurrence of rash. 3. Some may experience abdominal pain, and some may experience dry heaving and nausea/vomiting. A few may experience flushing and numbness. Mifepristone tablets must be used in a setting equipped with an emergency department, dilation and curettage (D&C) surgery, and intravenous fluid infusion.
