What are the differences between breastfeeding and bottle-feeding?

Patient's question:

Baby has been born, but as a new mother, there are many things I don't understand very well. Could you please ask the doctor what the differences are between breastfeeding and bottle feeding?

Doctor's answer:

Physically speaking, breast milk and formula are quite similar, with breast milk being slightly more nutritious. But emotionally, breast-fed babies are closer to their mothers. There's no difference in terms of transformation and growth development. This mom doesn't need to worry. The biggest difference is that breast-fed children are particularly attached to their mothers. For example, they might not let their mothers go off to work, cry when they can't see their mothers, refuse to take naps without their mothers, or touch their mothers' breasts in inappropriate situations. Formula-fed children generally don't have many of these characteristics and are easier to take care of, hehe. So there's no need to feel guilty about it. Just spend more time playing with the baby when you have nothing to do.
