Features: This book is composed of two parts: a detailed explanation of GRE reading methods, translations of domestic test papers, background information, and detailed explanations of questions. It aims to help candidates review conveniently, quickly, and systematically, ensuring a smooth passage through the exam. When elaborating on reading methods, the book emphasizes a close integration of theory and practical application, while the translations of test papers are highly instructive. The book was planned as early as early 1998 and went through a year-long process of multiple setbacks before finally being accomplished. It reminds me of a friend's remark: "In this era, it's truly not easy to do something one truly wants to do, especially if it's not for a house, a car, and a woman." Over the past two and a half years, I have been honored to serve as a reading teacher at New Oriental. In such a specific environment, driven by a sense of dedication and freedom, I have lived a peaceful and happy life. People have become more laid-back, and the progress of this book has stagnated. Fortunately, with the encouragement of my teachers and friends, I finally got back on track and completed the project.
