The difference between high-quality embryos and normal embryos

Patient's question:

We have been married for two years, but we haven't had any children yet. When we went to the hospital for an inquiry, the doctor said that we could consider IVF (in vitro fertilization). I would like to ask if there is a significant difference between IVF pre-embryo and ordinary embryos?

Doctor's answer:

High-quality embryos in IVF have uniform blastocyst size, regular shape, and almost no fragmentation, making them ideal for IVF. The cell size, color, and density are consistent, with relatively few irregular cells. In contrast, the size and shape of the cell clusters in ordinary embryos, as well as the color and density of individual cells, exhibit severe irregularities. Using such embryos reduces the success rate of IVF. In summary, there is no need to worry, as doctors will notify patients in advance before use.
