Features: "College English for Management——Management English" is designed for students and professionals in management-related disciplines. The book consists of 40 units, divided into 4 volumes, with 10 units per volume. Units 1-30 form a complete system, while units 31-40 provide advanced-level content. The two systems are both relatively independent and interconnected. The first volume of this series aligns with the College English Test Band 4 (CET-4). Its texts, vocabulary notes, and exercises are based on the requirements of the "College English Teaching Syllabus (Revised Edition)" for CET-4. Students who have completed the basic stage of college English studies can smoothly transition to using the first volume of this series. Students who have reached the level of college English can complete units 1-30 in the 5th, 6th, or 7th semester and continue learning or self-study units 31-40 in the 8th semester. Students with a strong foundation in English and extra time can accelerate their learning pace in the 5th, 6th, or 7th semester, completing units 1-30 first, followed by units 31-40. Based on the newly released "College English Teaching Syllabus (Revised Edition)" and guided by advanced and practical ESP/EAP research findings, this series of textbooks is developed. With the cultivation of five comprehensive skills as the main thread, thematic texts are meticulously designed to systematically teach reading, listening, speaking, writing, and translation skills. Thematic, objective-type exercises and a large number of subjective, practical communicative projects are carefully crafted. This approach facilitates the input of a wealth of useful language information to students through the model of language input-interaction-language output. The teaching reference book is developed to support student autonomy. With a student-centered approach, the training methods employ cycles, repetition, cross-training, and superposition to help students quickly accumulate professional English knowledge from multiple levels—pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structure, functional meanings, paragraph structure, discourse, and thinking patterns. This enables students to rapidly improve their comprehensive professional English application skills, communicative skills, and self-learning abilities in reading, listening, speaking, writing, and translation.
