Patient's question:
Female, 35 years old, after giving birth to her second child, she found that her private area seemed to become loose. Please ask: What are some good methods for postpartum tightening?Doctor's answer:
Currently, if a woman is in early pregnancy and experiencing labor (whether vaginal or cesarean birth), it may potentially cause damage to pelvic floor function. Therefore, postpartum pelvic floor function rehabilitation therapy is necessary.1. Standing Exercise: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart. Lower your upper body as much as possible, touching your head to your knees. Then lift your upper body into an inversion position while lifting your hips. Repeat this 8 times. The duration is 10–12 minutes, once a day.
2. Lying Exercise: After placing your buttocks at the edge of the bed, lie face down. Lift both legs and hold them in the air without touching the ground. Raise your legs upward, keeping them in a straight line with your body. Then lift them to a 30° angle and slowly lower them back down without touching the ground. Repeat this 10 times. The duration is 10–15 minutes, 1–2 times a day.
