How many weeks of twin pregnancy for fetal heart monitoring?

Patient's question:

A couple of days ago, I had a prenatal check-up and was asked to do fetal monitoring. The images showed relatively stable results, so I was told to breathe oxygen for half an hour. Another round was done, and it was still somewhat stable. I'm not very familiar with this, so I'd like to ask the doctor: at what gestational week should fetal heart monitoring be done for twins?

Doctor's answer:

In normal pregnancies, fetal heart monitoring is usually added during each prenatal check-up starting from the 32nd week of pregnancy. From the 37th week of pregnancy onwards, fetal heart monitoring should be performed once a week. For high-risk pregnant women or those with complications, such as gestational hypertension, postterm pregnancy, or diabetes combined with pregnancy, etc., these patients need to undergo fetal heart monitoring starting from the 28th week of pregnancy.
