What is the level of a 4cc blastocyst?

Patient's question:

My sister went to the hospital for a check-up today, and the results showed a 4cc blastocyst. Could you please tell me what level a 4cc blastocyst is?

Doctor's answer:

After receiving the blastocyst culture report, most people don't understand the various embryo grading data on the report, such as 4bc, 6bb, 4cc, etc. In fact, taking 4cc blastocyst as an example, the "4" represents different expansion stages of the blastocyst, while the "C" and "C" mainly indicate the quality grading of the inner cell mass and trophectoderm. Generally, a 4cc blastocyst is considered of average quality, but blastocysts are inherently better than embryos. As long as they can be cultured into blastocysts, they are good embryos, so there's no need to worry about whether they are 4CC grade. As long as they can be transferred, they are good.
