Monthly baby breast milk volume standard

Patient's question:

The baby is almost a month old now, and they are currently eating 60ML of formula each time. I'm wondering how much should I give them after the full moon, and whether I need to increase the milk amount?

Doctor's answer:

Every child's appetite is different, so there is no uniform standard, and the number of meals they eat each day also varies. Generally, as children grow older, the amount they eat will gradually increase. You can start by adding small amounts and observing how the child responds. Usually, after multiple trials, you can get a general idea of the amount they need.
Throughout the day, the child's intake of milk is reduced from three meals to two meals, with each meal being 250 milliliters, still following the schedule of eating every four hours. The other meals are entirely (solid food). Water should be given between each milk meal.
