Features: History is merciless, it has eliminated countless works of literature; yet history is also merciful, it has preserved many outstanding works that have been tested by time. Only works that have stood the test of time can ensure their value. This "Journey West," as recorded by Guangtian, is a fragment of his experiences following his school to Sichuan after the outbreak of the War of Resistance, a period of "forging" himself. The book is rich in content, elegant in writing, combining knowledge, history, and readability, making it highly worth reading.
