Patient's question:
Female, 32 years old, after getting pregnant, she felt uncomfortable, but this condition has not improved. She wants to do a systematic check-up in the hospital to see. Please ask what were the symptoms before pregnancy?Doctor's answer:
Symptoms of pregnancy before conception include the following points:(1) Delayed menstruation: If your menstrual cycle is usually regular but you do not experience menstruation when it is expected (i.e., menstruation stops), this may be a sign of pregnancy. However, delays in menstruation caused by high fever, severe anemia, tuberculosis, endocrine disorders, and other conditions are not included in this category.
(2) Early pregnancy symptoms: Along with delayed menstruation, you may frequently experience symptoms such as loss of appetite, food cravings (e.g., for sour or spicy foods), aversion to greasy foods, and morning nausea with vomiting. In severe cases, the nausea and vomiting may become intense, making it difficult to eat or drink, and vomiting may worsen. These are also signs of early pregnancy (these early pregnancy symptoms usually disappear within 3 months). Some women who have taken oral contraceptives may occasionally exhibit obvious loss of appetite and nausea, but these symptoms are typically mild and short-lived, making them easy to distinguish.
