Features: Robin Hood is a famous heroic figure in British folklore. Legend has it that Robin Hood lived in the Nottingham area of England during the 14th and 15th centuries. For shooting a nobleman who was protecting his lover, the noblewoman Marion, he was declared an "outlaw" whose life and property were not protected by law. Forced to flee, Robin Hood made his way to Sherwood Royal Forest in Nottingham, where he met Little John, an outlaw of peasant origin, and his companion, John. Together, they established a secret camp for outlaws in the forest. From then on, the outlaws rebelled against the oppression of the sheriff, punished nobles and monks who passed through the forest, and helped others who were being oppressed by the powerful. They became renowned far and wide.
The sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John, the younger brother of King Richard of England, conspired multiple times to capture Robin Hood and the outlaws. The sheriff and Prince John once held a grand archery competition in Nottingham, attempting to lure Robin Hood to participate. However, Robin Hood disguised himself and won the archery competition. Later, the sheriff of Nottingham and Prince John used an informant to locate the secret camp of the outlaws and launched a surprise attack, killing most of them. They also declared that those captured would be publicly hanged.
Robin Hood returned secretly to England with the "Lionhearted King" Richard, foiled Prince John's plot to seize the throne, and rescued his friends. From then on, Robin Hood, Marion, and the surviving outlaws lived happily together.
