Features: "Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Otolaryngology" is one of the specialized teaching materials for integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in higher TCM colleges and universities. It is compiled according to the training program and teaching syllabus of this major, primarily intended for teaching use in different models and types of junior college-level integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine medical programs. It can also serve as a reference for junior college medical students in traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine programs. The book includes three parts: ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and stomatology, which are introduced in three volumes (upper, middle, and lower). The early sections of each discipline cover the basic theoretical knowledge and fundamental operational methods of both traditional Chinese and Western medicine, while the later sections discuss the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis and treatment methods for common and frequently occurring diseases in each discipline. This book was written to meet the urgent demand for advanced specialized talents in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in clinical practice. During the writing process, emphasis was placed on the teaching characteristics of advanced specialized studies in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine otolaryngology and the practical needs of clinical otolaryngology work, aiming to build the knowledge and skills essential for professionals in this field. In the combination of teaching content in traditional Chinese and Western medicine, reasonable selections were made, adopting a strategy of integrating as much as possible and temporarily compiling where integration was not feasible. The goal is to achieve a certain degree of coordination and unity between the two thinking models of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in otolaryngology in clinical practice.
