Features: This book primarily focuses on the Shaanxi and Gansu (known as Guan and Long) regions, with extensions to Ningxia, Ninghai, and Xinjiang, covering five provinces and autonomous regions. It mainly examines the Yingqin civilization of the Shang Dynasty, Western Zhou, Spring and Autumn, Warring States, and Qin periods, with extensions to the Paleolithic and Neolithic cultures of the five regions and the bronze cultures of the Shang and Zhou periods. The book systematically and concisely describes the present state, types, distribution, dating, and research status of the Paleolithic, Neolithic, and bronze cultures (including the iron age cultures in Xinjiang) of the five regions. It also provides a systematic and comprehensive account of the Yingqin civilization, known as Qin culture, from the mythical ancient history period in Shandong to the present Shaanxi and Gansu regions, covering its emergence, development, spread, and migration. The book details the distribution, types, dating, evolution, and academic research status of archaeological findings related to Qin culture, as well as various differing opinions. Wherever the author believes it is possible to make judgments and express academic insights, they have done so as much as possible. This book serves as both an introductory guide to understanding the basic conditions of the aforementioned archaeological cultural discoveries and research and as the author's academic monograph, consolidating their research on these cultures, particularly Qin culture.
