Publish Date: 2005-04-01
Features: Each volume of this teaching reference adopts a structure of upper and lower parts. The chapters in the upper part correspond to the chapter titles in the accompanying teaching materials, generally including two main contents:
First, "Selected Materials," which collects representative original materials from each historical period;
Second, "Academic Research Review," primarily introducing the current state of research on each historical period in the history field, different historical perspectives in academic discussions, as well as research findings of significant academic value or representativeness. The above content can be used for classroom teaching, as well as for student self-study, discussion, and preliminary academic research, better achieving the overall teaching reform idea of "two spaces."
The lower part consists of selected academic papers for reading, aiming to provide students with exemplary academic works. The selection criteria are:
First, content-wise, they have high academic value and have a considerable impact in a certain academic field, representing a certain viewpoint or school of thought.
Second, the academic format is relatively standardized, making it convenient for students to practice imitative exercises when learning to write papers. This part is mainly for students to refer to outside of class.
