Features: Since the publication of Practical Obstetrics and Gynecology Pharmacology, it has been more than four years and has been deeply loved by a broad readership. However, with the advancement of the discipline, pharmacological treatments have also continued to develop, with new drugs and formulations constantly emerging, and the reuse of older drugs becoming increasingly common. Rational drug use can achieve the expected therapeutic effects. Improper drug use not only delays treatment but also leads to many adverse consequences. To help gynecologists and obstetricians better master clinical drug use, we have compiled the second edition of Practical Obstetrics and Gynecology Pharmacology, providing a relatively comprehensive, systematic, and accurate introduction to the diagnosis and pharmacological treatment of gynecological and obstetric diseases. This book includes commonly used drugs in gynecology and obstetrics, as well as new drugs used domestically and internationally in recent years, and is supplemented by the authors' practical experience. The second edition has made significant changes in certain chapters compared to the edition, primarily by adding some new drugs and new treatment methods. This ensures the completeness, scientific rigor, modernity, and practicality of gynecological and obstetric drug use. On the premise of ensuring quality and safety, it better serves the health of women and newborns. This book is different from general drug manuals and general diagnosis and treatment manuals. Its feature is to start from clinical diseases, introduce commonly used drugs in gynecology and obstetrics on the basis of clear diagnosis and treatment principles, and provide detailed introductions to specific drug regimens. The compilation of this book was completed by two professors, Guo Yanyan and Zhou Shimei, from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Peking University Hospital, along with eleven other experienced associate professors and professors. A large number of domestic and international literature were referenced during the compilation, and assistance and guidance were obtained from relevant departments. We are willing to share this book with all gynecologists and obstetricians for mutual encouragement. However, due to the limitations of our expertise, inaccuracies or errors are inevitable. We still welcome criticism and corrections from colleagues.
