Features: Abdominal acupuncture is a new acupuncture technique innovatively developed by Professor Bo Zhiyun after more than 20 years of dedicated research. Abdominal acupuncture is characterized by being "painless, safe, effective, quick, short-term treatment, and stable," and has been widely welcomed by medical workers both domestically and internationally. It is a new therapy with promising prospects for promotion both domestically and internationally and has been included by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a national continuing education project for traditional Chinese medicine. After more than 20 years of research, Professor Bo first discovered that the meridians in the abdomen are divided into two systems: congenital and acquired, arranged in a three-dimensional structure in different layers of the abdominal wall. Treating diseases according to the laws of these meridians can achieve very miraculous effects. During abdominal acupuncture treatment, there is minimal or no pain, making it not only safe and reliable with a high efficacy rate but also short in treatment duration and quick in producing results. It is a new therapy with promising prospects for promotion both domestically and internationally. Traditional acupuncture holds that "Qi reaching the disease site" (the sensations of soreness, numbness, distension, and pain when needling acupoints) is an important clinical indicator for achieving better therapeutic effects, yet this very point is also a major reason why people are reluctant to accept acupuncture treatment. Abdominal acupuncture has summarized the correlation between the depth of needling and various diseases, breaking free from the dependence on traditional "Qi arrival" for clinical efficacy and proposing the new acupuncture concept of "needling to the disease site." As long as the special requirements of abdominal acupuncture are followed in the operation, the same immediate and visible effects can be achieved without the patient's awareness, making abdominal acupuncture a painless acupuncture therapy that can be happily accepted by people of all ages. Abdominal acupuncture has the advantages of standardized prescriptions, standardized operations, and rationalized syndrome differentiation, establishing basic norms for the development and research of abdominal acupuncture and providing a new model and approach for the development of acupuncture. Abdominal acupuncture combines the characteristics of traditional acupuncture treatment with its own unique diagnostic and therapeutic features, making it widely applicable to people of all age groups. For children, the use of finger acupuncture also has high clinical value. The diagrams are based on the characteristics of abdominal meridians, with the aim of being realistic, clear, and clinically guiding, reflecting the scientific nature, reproducibility, and operability of abdominal acupuncture. This set of diagrams is divided into three parts: the holographic map of the abdomen, the meridian point map of the abdomen, and the map of the eight abdominal cavities, introducing the distribution patterns of meridians at different depths in the abdomen. The locations and names of acupoints in the meridian point map are based on the "International Standard Acupuncture Point Names" published by WHO in 1991. The new acupoints on the abdomen are Bo's empirical acupoints. We sincerely hope that the publication of this diagram will be helpful to everyone and contribute to the promotion and popularization of abdominal acupuncture.
