Features: When you have learned the notes of a piece, you need to clearly be aware of the three roles you are responsible for during practice:
1. Performer — Start by playing a few sentences.
2. Listener — Simultaneously listen to the sound you are playing.
3. Critic — Judge and analyze your performance (e.g., too loud, too soft, too fast, or too slow).
The process of performing, listening, and critiquing needs to be repeated continuously until you finally feel satisfied. This is what practicing is all about.
All piano players have a very unfavorable condition — they cannot carry their own piano with them and are often forced to play on unfamiliar pianos. But don’t use this as an excuse for not playing well.
Now, you will develop your unique tone, phrasing, and rhythm, and you will be able to produce the sound you need on any ordinary piano.
