Features: In the past few years, students, teachers, and professional players have often asked me to write a method book that allows students to progress step by step in accordion playing. It seems that there is a common opinion among teachers that most methods do not divide the stages of learning in detail. Therefore, the lessons in this book are arranged in a practical and logical order, including all the key points of gradual progress. Students can only make progress by seriously practicing each lesson before moving on to the next. To play the accordion well, one must use both hands and brain—it is the only way. The bass clef is now commonly used for the left hand and has become the standard method. Using a single note to represent a chord button is clearer for beginners. As students become familiar with the bass clef and learn chord inversions in both clefs, they will not find it difficult to read chords with three notes in the bass clef and chords with four notes (similar to those in piano music).
