Features: This book is part of the "120-Minute English" series published by our press. The two previously published books in the series are "Listening to Tapes, Learning Grammar—Li Baoning's 120-Minute English Grammar" and "Listening to Tapes, Learning Grammar—Li Baoning's 120-Minute English Grammar (Popular Edition)." The "120-Minute English" series is an imported book from the South Korean NEXUS Publishing House. The reason our press chose to import this series is primarily based on the following factors: First, China and South Korea both belong to the Sino-Korean cultural sphere, with a long history of cultural exchange. In modern times, both countries place great emphasis on English education and learning, considering English as a compulsory foreign language course. Chinese and South Koreans encounter many similar challenges in learning English, making it possible for them to communicate and learn from each other. English conversation is widely recognized as one of the difficulties in learning English. This book is designed according to the thinking habits of Easterners, organizing and systematically listing how to adjust one's mindset, structure language, and other methods and techniques around different themes, enabling readers to think in English, communicate smoothly, and express themselves effectively. Second, it introduces the new concept of "120 minutes." English conversation topics are very broad, but this book selects only the most practical aspects of interpersonal communication and condenses them into a 120-minute lecture, allowing readers to grasp the key points of English conversation in a short time, thereby improving learning efficiency. Finally, the audio recordings on the tapes reflect a new approach. The recording method of the book's accompanying tapes is very different from previous ones, moving away from the rigid style of reading each example sentence in the book one by one. Instead, it adopts a "talk show" style. The author and her co-host analyze how to handle English conversations in interactions in a relaxed and enjoyable conversational manner, making it lively and refreshing. Both have accurate pronunciation and seamless coordination, allowing readers to master the essentials of English conversation in a pleasant atmosphere.
