The Genre Knowledge section includes general genre knowledge and some major rhetorical devices. The Supplementary Reading Materials are appended after the main texts, typically consisting of two articles of varying lengths, on topics and styles that may be similar or different, for students to explore. This book features a wide range of materials, standardized language, systematic content organization, and thorough explanations of difficult points, making it engaging, informative, and practical.
