This series of "Bo Bing English Classified Reading" for the new curriculum standard is a systematic combination for senior high school students to conduct reading training. Following the cognitive principle of gradual progress and the language acquisition process, the writing process pays special attention to diversity in selection and compilation, organized into categories such as stories, science articles, biographies, social culture, and historical and cultural knowledge according to the reading genres of the college entrance examination. The reading training materials are mainly selected from books, newspapers, and multimedia information from domestic and foreign sources, covering all aspects of social life. Students, friends, and overseas students from the UK, the US, Canada, and Australia have enthusiastically supported the compilation, providing a large amount of textual material. These materials are fresh in content, authentic in language, highly engaging, and highly readable, with a strong sense of the times. They can be used for collective English reading training in class or for self-study and testing by students according to their own schedules. Each training material includes self-test references, word counts, and the required reading time according to the syllabus requirements (40 words per minute for general, 60 words per minute for good, and 80 words per minute for excellent). Readers can use the attached table to calculate their reading speed based on their reading time. Additionally, there is a column for readers to record their reading comprehension accuracy, which helps them track the improvement of their reading abilities.
