Features: Most people start learning calligraphy by copying classic scripts. They study the strokes and structures of model characters to achieve consistency with the original scripts. However, if copying is done merely by comparing, it can become monotonous and lack interest, as if something is missing. How can we make the relatively dull process of copying more diverse and engaging? We chose to combine copying with creation. Specifically, we selected model characters from classic scripts, arranged them into statements of exemplary moral conduct by, and structured them into various forms of calligraphy works. This approach aims to allow learners to study both stroke techniques and layout principles while copying classic scripts, adding more fun, moral refinement, and a sense of achievement to the process. 1. Selecting high-quality model characters to avoid repetition of the same characters in a single work.
2. Using the nine-grid format with strong black-and-white contrast, creating the best conditions for beginners to copy.
3. For characters not present in the original scripts, we adopted imitative writing to ensure consistency with the original style.
4. Each moral statement is accompanied by a complete calligraphy work, with diverse forms.
5. Each calligraphy work is accompanied by a layout explanation.
