Features: This book consists of 7 chapters. Chapter 1 is the preliminary knowledge, mainly explaining the characteristics, steps, and basic methods of dynamic analysis of AC motors, including coordinate transformation, equivalent circuits, motion equations, and state equations, as well as their establishment and solution methods. Chapters 2-6 derive the motion equations, operational reactances, and state equations of induction motors and synchronous motors in various commonly used coordinate systems, and present solutions to many classical electromagnetic transient problems and the solutions to some typical dynamic problems. Chapter 7 briefly introduces the analysis of AC motors supplied by variable frequency drives. At the end of the book, there are 6 appendices, including two source programs for dynamic calculations of induction motors and synchronous motors, enabling readers to quickly move into practical dynamic calculations after mastering the basic theories. This book is intended as a graduate textbook for electrical engineering departments in universities, and can also serve as a reference for university teachers and engineering technicians engaged in motor design and operation.
