Features: What situations don't require worry? What situations are urgent? How should you respond? The book explains common knowledge that mothers should know, including the symptoms and progression of illnesses, emergency home care measures, and caregiving methods. Even after visiting a doctor, it's often difficult to get all your questions answered in the limited time of the visit. This book addresses the doubts and uncertainties that many mothers have. Over the past thirty-plus years, as a pediatrician, I have treated many children. During that time, many young mothers who brought their children to me would tell me, "I was also treated by you when I was a child." Over these three decades, the content of pediatric medicine has undergone significant changes, and so has my own perspective. In the clinic, every patient's visit time is limited, making it impossible to provide a thorough explanation of the condition and symptoms. Therefore, I have tried to organize and compile the information I usually wanted to explain in a concise and easy-to-understand way, so that mothers can refer to it. The book is organized around various disease names or the main symptoms of children brought to the emergency room, divided into 19 items. It explains the symptoms, their progression, emergency home care measures, and caregiving methods that mothers should know. Even after visiting a doctor, it's often difficult to get all your questions answered in the limited time of the visit. This book addresses the doubts and uncertainties that many mothers have. However, because symptoms vary from person to person, treatment methods also differ. The knowledge in this book cannot be followed rigidly. Based on my thirty-plus years of clinical experience, I hope to help you understand the causes of the illness and clarify why certain treatments are recommended, which will be more appropriate. If after reading this book, your long-standing doubts are somewhat resolved, and it helps you in some way when your child is sick, preventing you from feeling overwhelmed or panicked, then as the author, I would be very pleased.
