If you stab me to death with a knife, we are martyrs; if I shoot you to death, it is executing a criminal. Hu Chou is just like his name suggests—he is merely an ordinary police officer who "selflessly dedicates himself without seeking fame or fortune," like the saying goes, "In the scorching summer, when the sun is blazing overhead and sweat drips down your back, how much one wishes to cool off in an air-conditioned room, even for a moment under a fan." Although now the fertile plains of Zhongyuan and the vast south of the Yangtze River all praise him as the "King of Anti-Thief in Zhongyuan." Just as he himself said, "I am just doing the work that I should do, just like a worker working or a farmer farming—it's as simple as that. I am an anti-thief police officer, of course I have to catch thieves; this is the most natural thing in the world!" Yes, it is precisely these "most natural things" that have forged a police officer, an ordinary police officer, and an extraordinary "hero" among ordinary police officers!
