Features:
1. When quoting text, this book adopts the original spelling system of the text. In other parts, British English spelling system is used.
2. The test questions provided in this book are designed by the authors based on the assessment content and question types specified in the Syllabus. The questions cover the seven types of questions listed in the Syllabus. For the convenience of teaching units and self-learners for self-assessment, the proportion of scores for each item is listed in the questions. However, the structure and proportion of scores of the questions encountered by examinees in the actual exam may not be the same as those in this book. The test questions in this book are slightly different in the two volumes (Upper and Lower). To gradually transition from Comprehensive English (I) Self-Assistance to Comprehensive English (II) Self-Assistance, some reading passages in the test questions of the Upper Volume of Comprehensive English (II) Self-Assistance may not meet the length requirements of the Syllabus, and the proportion of scores is also slightly different.
3. Some language points provided in the "Key Points for Text Study" section of this book are not part of the assessment content but are designed to help self-learners further improve their English. For this section, self-learners and teaching units can decide whether to adopt or omit the content based on their own circumstances.
4. During the writing process of this book, some shortcomings were found in the text annotations and textbook exercises. These errors have been corrected in the relevant sentence explanations and exercise answers in this book and will be addressed in the reprint of the textbook.
5. During the writing process of this book, some questions about the text in the textbook were found to be too difficult or unsuitable, so reference answers were not provided. Readers need not consider answering these questions. Due to various reasons, this book still has many shortcomings. We sincerely hope that self-learners, teaching units, and all individuals who use this book will provide corrections.
