Features: Personalized interviews with a Chinese-American female writer, brilliant records of Peking University International MBA students! A work closely observing the Chinese MBA population, depicting the diverse faces of China's business elites. They unintentionally experienced a transformative era, and both their personal destinies and changes in perspective are worth a collective annotation of history. Going beyond EMBA means forgetting EMBA in practice. For example, many people enjoy reading Jin Yong's martial arts novels. The characters in the novels initially learn the martial arts of a particular sect in a systematic manner, but the true masters often undergo a painful process of enlightenment, integrating what they have learned, and then transition to the highest realm—unwielding techniques surpassing all formal moves. The same applies to EMBA learning. The key to completing EMBA is forgetting it, integrating the knowledge, thinking, and perspectives accumulated before, during, and after, and being able to act with confidence and creativity when facing practical problems, without being confined to rigid "set methods." The interviewees I encountered this time, as well as the overseas and domestic Chinese around me, all acknowledge that the current Chinese business world is "results-oriented" and "unethical." Yes, "frivolity"—it was like this 10 years ago, and it will still be like this 10 years from now. Although everyone believes that this "frivolity" is a product of a transitional phase and things will eventually improve, how many people are waiting for the improvement? How many are truly taking action starting from themselves and from this moment? And how many critics are themselves the very ones executing "results-oriented" behavior? You can't expect someone who created the problem to solve the same problem using the same mindset. This book will help people change their way of thinking.
