Features: The Self-Assistance Guide for "Comprehensive English I (Volumes I and II)" is compiled based on the "Comprehensive English I" and the "Comprehensive English I Examination Syllabus" organized by the National Self-Tuition Examination Guidance Committee. This book aims to help learners better master the content of "Comprehensive English I" and the assessment points specified in the "Examination Syllabus," gradually building a solid language foundation to meet the requirements of the "Examination Syllabus." Each lesson in the book consists of three parts:
1. Key Points of the Text
(1) Outline: Summary of the lesson content.
(2) Detailed Study of the Text: Key learning points of the text. This includes the following:
(1) Chinese translations of difficult sentences not covered in the "Text Notes" in the textbook, along with explanations of grammatical difficulties.
(2) English paraphrases of some difficult sentences in the text.
(3) Vocabulary assessment points specified in the "Examination Syllabus," as well as the meanings of other important vocabulary and phrases, along with model example sentences.
2. Exercise Answers
Includes reference answers for Questions on Text, Oral Work, Written Work, Vocabulary Exercises, and Grammar Exercises in the textbook.
3. Comprehensive Test Questions
Each volume provides 5 sets of test questions. The first 4 sets are designed according to the learning requirements and assessment points of every 4 lessons, using the question types specified in the "Examination Syllabus." They aim to help learners review and consolidate the content of the 4 lessons while gradually familiarizing them with the question types in the "Examination Syllabus." The last set in each volume covers the content and key points of 16 lessons. Each set of questions is accompanied by reference answers.
The last set of test questions in the second volume covers the assessment content of all 32 lessons in "Comprehensive English I."
