Features: Business research is a relatively new interdisciplinary field. Its fundamental theories, methods, and techniques are derived from disciplines such as economics, management, marketing, statistics, sociology, psychology, and information science. The revision and updates are concentrated in the following aspects: , updated some case studies in the main text. Second, supplementary and revisions were made to the collection methods and techniques of secondary and primary data related to network technology. Third, the content on using computer software for data organization was adjusted from a general introduction to database and spreadsheet techniques to an introduction to the use of statistical software packages, such as SPSS. Fourth, the content on the status of China's business research industry was supplemented and revised based on recent developments. Finally, and also the most important work of this revision, an appendix with case studies as the main focus was added after the main text.
