The Ming and Qing dynasty bronze Buddha statues are part of Buddhist sculpture art. During the Ming Dynasty, due to the widespread construction of temples and the need for offerings, as well as the court's donations to religious leaders, bronze sculptures rapidly developed, forming the "Yongxuan Bronze Sculptures" of the highest artistic level during the Yongle and Xuanzhe reigns. At this time, the facial features of the sculptures were plump, the designs were exquisite, the gold color was rich, and the artistic level was extremely high. The Qing Dynasty sculptures inherited the Ming Dynasty style, with meticulous craftsmanship, marking the peak period of Tibetan-style bronze sculptures. Today, these sculptures are not only objects of worship for Buddhists but also precious national artistic heritage, cherished by collectors both at home and abroad. The author of this book has compiled it using rich materials from museums and the, providing a detailed account of the development history of Ming and Qing dynasty bronze Buddha statues, as well as common knowledge of collecting, investment analysis, and appraisal of bronze Buddha statues. The book includes over 100 color illustrations, introducing the auction information, common analyses, and evaluations of more than 100 different Buddha statues.
