Features: This book is a collection of my previous research on the two important classical lyric texts, the Book of Songs and the Songs of Chu. They are now separately included in this collection. The first volume of New Evidence on the Book of Songs was compiled from the edited version of Double Sword: New Evidence on the Book of Songs, published in 1935. The second volume includes the Journal of Chinese Literature and the Notes on the Book of Songs from the first and second issues of Zesuoju, with some revisions. The third volume consists of individual papers on the research of the Book of Songs, which have also been slightly corrected. As they were written at different times, the formatting varies. They are now retained as they were, with an index of titles at the beginning of each paper for easy reference. New Evidence on the Songs of Chu is an old manuscript from 1963, which was published in issues 3 and 4 of Frontline of Social Sciences in 1979. Due to the lack of my proofreading, there were many errors, which have now been corrected.
