Features: With the vigorous development of legal research and legal education in China, to meet the needs of legal professionals, judges, court staff, and faculty and students of law schools, our publishing house has selected and compiled the "Selected Works of Legal Essays" series. This series picks out the essence from tens of thousands of papers, categorizing them into different subjects. The selected essays are chosen solely based on their academic impact, with their content offering unique insights into legal debates, innovative perspectives on new legal issues, profound analyses of existing laws, or introductions to foreign legislative examples and theories, regardless of the authors' age, geographical location, profession, or status. To minimize the potential negative influence arising from the editors' biases or vested interests, the selection process is outlined by professional editors of China Legal Publishing House, with input from multiple parties and thorough deliberation. The arrangement of essays in each selection is organized according to the relevant legal articles or textbook chapters of the respective legal departments based on the themes discussed, without considering the publication dates of the papers or the authors' names. Each essay includes a brief introduction to the author's resume and major academic achievements below the title, and the source of the essay is noted at the end for further reference. Since the original journals of the selected essays have varying requirements for footnotes, to preserve the authors' writing styles and maintain the original form of the articles, this series does not impose uniform formatting standards for footnotes.
