Author: National Development and Reform Commission Economic Operation Bureau, Modern Logistics Research Center, Nankai University
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2004-08-01
Features: As an annual report, this book inherits the systematic and comprehensive characteristics of the 2002 annual report in terms of research content. The book conducts economic analysis from macro to micro, from supply to demand, and from the whole to the part, covering the development dynamics of modern logistics in the two regions and three territories. At the same time, based on investigation and analysis, it addresses the current lack of national statistical data on modern logistics development in China, determining a research focus on quantitative analysis of the current situation. Building on the content of the 2002 annual report, this book adds the following aspects: (1) Industry Logistics Development Section, which selects two industries with distinctive characteristics in logistics development—automotive and pharmaceuticals—to analyze the features of their current logistics development status. (2) Introduction to the Current State of Logistics Development in Foreign Countries, which systematically introduces the development status and characteristics of modern logistics in major countries and regions worldwide, providing valuable references for studying China's logistics development. (3) Research on Regional Logistics Development from a New Perspective, which, in contrast to the rapid development of the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, and Bohai Rim economic circles' logistics in the 2002 annual report, provides a more detailed description of the current state of logistics development in China's rapidly developing regions.
