Features: This revised dictionary includes the following contents:
(1) Added some character entries.
(2) Made necessary additions and modifications to the definitions of character entries and words.
(3) Combined frequently used characters and less frequently used characters, arranging them uniformly in alphabetical order instead of dividing them into two parts; appropriately adjusted the order of illustrative words in definitions and the arrangement of word lists.
(4) Revised the quantities and units involved in the dictionary according to the "Series National Standards for Quantities and Units" approved and released by the National Administration for Quality and Technology on December 27, 1993.
(5) Some stroke orders of character entries were corrected based on the "Modern Chinese Common Character Stroke Order Specification" formulated by the Standardization Commission of the National Language and Character Work Committee.
(6) Added some colored illustrations.
