The Three Gorges of my childhood and youth were poetic, like a painting, steeped in myths and legends, grand and majestic, misty and ethereal, with the spirit of Wushan Goddess, Qu Yuan of Zigui, and Zhaojun of Xiangxi. Those Three Gorges were misty, like a dream, ethereal.
