Carved in the first year of the Yongping era of the Northern Wei Dynasty (508). Discovered in the late Qing Dynasty's Xuantong period in Luoyang, Henan. The calligraphy of the Stone Inscription of Shi Wan is vigorous in stroke power, with an ancient and lively style, embodying the calligraphic characteristics of early Northern Wei tomb inscriptions. It is considered a fine example of Northern Wei tomb inscriptions.
