Features: As a local treatment modality, the purpose of radiotherapy is to continuously improve local tumor control rates by increasing the dose to the target area and/or reducing radiation damage to the surrounding normal tissues, thereby further enhancing survival rates and/or improving quality of life. In recent years, with the rapid development of precise radiotherapy techniques centered on precise localization, precise planning, and precise treatment, the overall efficacy of radiotherapy has been improved. Currently, precise radiotherapy techniques represented by stereotactic intensity-modulated radiotherapy (SIRT) have become a prominent feature in the research and widespread application of tumor radiotherapy. However, due to the broad theoretical and technical scope covered by precise radiotherapy, no corresponding specialized books have been published so far in China or abroad. The publication of this book fills this gap.
