Features: This book is a supplementary textbook for "EDA Technology and Applications." It consists of 8 chapters, covering topics such as an overview of EDA technology, the use of EDA tool software, VHDL, VerilogHDL, AHDL, common EDA tool software, programmable logic devices, and the application of EDA technology. Each chapter includes teaching objectives, content summaries, synchronous exercises, and reference answers to the exercises. Most chapters also include experimental content. The synchronous exercises in this book provide approximately 600 different types of questions, including fill-in-the-blank, multiple-choice, analysis, design and programming application, and experimental reflection questions, as well as national graduate EDA competition questions. Each exercise comes with a reference answer, and all analysis and design/programming application questions have been compiled and simulated using MAXplusⅡ or ModelSim to ensure accuracy. The experiments in this book primarily use the MAXplusⅡ software as a tool to complete the schematic input design of digital systems, as well as the editing, compilation, simulation, pin locking, and programming download of text input design using VHDL, VerilogHDL, and AHDL. Additionally, it includes experimental content using different EDA tool software such as QuartusⅡ, ModelSim, and NCLaunch. This book can serve as a teaching aid for faculty and students in electronic, communication, information, and automation-related disciplines at higher technical colleges to learn EDA technology.
