Features: Since the implementation of the "Regulations on Audio-Video Products" on October 1, 1994, it has played a significant role in standardizing audio-video publishing, replication activities, and audio-video product business operations, as well as promoting the development of the audio-video industry. With the deepening of reform, the expansion of opening-up, and the continuous development of the audio-video publishing industry, especially with China's entry into the World Trade Organization, audio-video management has faced new situations and issues. Some provisions of the original regulations have become inadequate in meeting the demands of the evolving situation. On December 25, 2001, Premier Zhu Rongji signed State Council Order No. 341, promulgating the newly revised "Regulations on Audio-Video Products," which came into effect on February 1, 2002. The revision of the "Regulations on Audio-Video Products" is of great significance for strengthening the management of the audio-video industry, developing and flourishing the audio-video industry, meeting the cultural and entertainment needs of the people, and promoting the construction of socialist material and spiritual civilization. The new regulations consist of seven chapters and fifty-one articles.
