Features: How to fundamentally address the problems in secondary school English teaching, making the reform of English teaching both distinctly contemporary—implementing quality-oriented education—and in line with China's realities—meeting the requirements of the college entrance examination. This is the primary objective of the revision of Three Points One Test: Senior High School English. To achieve this, the book not only provides systematic English knowledge but also emphasizes cultivating and improving students' comprehensive language application skills. Based on the latest spirit of educational reform from the Ministry of Education, extensive feedback from readers, and the latest textbooks, we have made substantial revisions on the basis of the previous edition, making the book more practical and truly becoming a premium learning guide for students. The book is divided into 10 units. Each unit is divided into five parts:
1. Key and Difficult Points;
2. In-depth Analysis of Knowledge Points;
3. Grammar Highlights;
4. Comprehensive Ability Test Questions;
5. Reference Answers.
The book dedicates significant attention to analyzing phonetics, grammar, four-skill (three-skill) vocabulary, and word forms, phrases, and sentence structures, accompanied by numerous standardized and well-chosen example sentences. In the comprehensive ability test questions, mid-term test papers, and final test papers of each unit, there are five types of questions:
1. Multiple Choice;
2. Cloze Test;
3. Reading Comprehension;
4. Error Correction;
5. Writing.
The single-sentence tests highlight the assessment of context and context-based grammar, which is beneficial for cultivating skills and developing intelligence. This change fully aligns with the requirements of the college entrance examination, helping to improve students' exam-taking abilities. This revision has particularly added listening training.
