Features: The new round of educational reform, curriculum reform, and examination reform has led to significant changes in China's college admissions system, especially in the reform of examination content, which has further emphasized the assessment of candidates' innovative abilities, practical skills, and comprehensive qualities. How to scientifically and effectively explore the patterns of the new college entrance examination (Gaokao) to achieve the best educational output with the least input, and to secure outstanding Gaokao scores to enter top-tier universities, is not only the dream of countless students but also the continuous pursuit of educators nationwide. This series of books was meticulously crafted by the entire teaching staff of Qidong High School, a pioneer in creating the "Qidong Educational Miracle," comprehensively summarizing the intellectual achievements of the junior and senior high school teachers in teaching and review guidance over the past few years, particularly since the "3X" Gaokao reform and the new curriculum reform. It effectively addresses how to scientifically and effectively improve students' knowledge levels and learning abilities under the new curriculum and Gaokao, as well as how to promote the broader dissemination and utilization of Qidong High School's high-quality educational resources, enabling teachers and students from other schools nationwide to share in its "authentic practice exercises."
During the actual writing process, the junior and senior high school teaching schedules and review progress were taken into account, with the junior high school examination divided into two rounds and the Gaokao into three rounds. The Junior High School Authentic Practice Exercises include six subjects: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Politics in each round. The Gaokao Authentic Practice Exercises cover nine subjects in each round: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, and Geography, with an additional two comprehensive volumes for the third round titled "Comprehensive (Arts)" and "Comprehensive (Sciences)." Each round's subject books are divided into two parts: Part A, which provides an in-depth interpretation of key points for teachers and students, featuring main sections such as "Exam Outline Navigation, Key Point Analysis, Exam Question Analysis, Common Mistakes, and Gaokao Forecast," and Part B, which is a "Synchronous Strengthening Training" to Part A. In essence, this series is an invaluable practical guide for junior and senior high school exam preparation.
This edition has undergone a thorough revision, incorporating the outstanding achievements of educational, curriculum, and examination reforms from across the country over the past year. The revised second edition of each sub-series reflects the collective wisdom of dozens of experienced junior and senior high school teachers from Qidong High School, with a focus on cultivating students' innovative and practical abilities. A large number of carefully selected and analyzed questions have been compiled through collective lesson planning, continuous refinement, and meticulous integration, combining originality with classic content to fully align with the requirements of the new junior and senior high school exams. Specifically:
- First Round (Foundation): Organized by chapters or units, with a focus on interpreting key points from the new Junior High School Exam Outline, supplemented by abundant exam question analyses.
- Second Round (Capability): Divided into thematic lectures and strengthening training, emphasizing the development and enhancement of interdisciplinary comprehensive and applied abilities, as well as innovative thinking. It also includes cross-disciplinary thematic lectures and training.
- Third Round (Final Sprint): Designed for students preparing for simulation exams in April and May, featuring 15 carefully crafted junior and senior high school mock exams. These scientifically structured exams provide a new platform for training aligned with the "Exam Outline, Key Points, and Exam Questions" tri-directional goals, aiming to achieve an "authentic zero-distance" connection with the 2006 junior and senior high school exams.
As the saying goes, "Through countless efforts, though arduous, the pure gold will eventually surface." The junior and senior high school exam questions selected in this series, along with the forecasts for these exams, are scientifically and rigorously derived from a vast pool of questions, further enriched by the latest original questions created by Qidong High School teachers. These materials are of extremely high value, possessing authority, guidance, and precision. Their purpose is to help students accurately grasp problem-solving patterns, improve their review efficiency, and enhance their exam-taking skills.
