Features: "Mathematics is the gate and key to science." Mathematics is the foundation for the development of all sciences. For young children, it is very important to build a solid mathematical foundation in class and learn some Olympic mathematics outside of class to improve their scientific and cultural literacy and future development. In recent years, mathematical olympiad competitions, primary school mathematical application and exploration ability competitions, and Hua Luogeng Mathematical Golden Cup competitions have attracted a large number of math enthusiasts to participate enthusiastically. Although the transition from primary to secondary school has largely eliminated entrance exams, many foreign language schools and key middle schools still regard students' competition awards as an important basis for assessing their quality. The English listening tests or comprehensive ability tests and interviews for selecting into excellent middle schools all include a certain number of olympic math questions, showing that mathematical ability remains an important aspect in measuring students' comprehensive qualities. To meet the needs of primary school students learning olympic math, we have hired experienced teachers who have achieved significant results in olympiad tutoring to write this series of "Math Olympiad Little Champions" books and dedicate them to young readers. The purpose is to help math enthusiasts enhance their interest, conduct systematic training, lay a solid foundation, and improve their competitiveness. Currently, there are many mathematical competition coaching books available, but this series has its own unique features:
- Synchronized with the textbook: Based on the new curriculum standards and the corresponding new edition textbooks, each grade has its own book. While students master the basic knowledge in class, they can also learn some olympic math to deepen and enhance their understanding of the foundational concepts.
- Convenient for self-study: According to the knowledge system of the textbook for your grade, each book includes 25-28 topics. In each topic, the "Coach's Notes" introduce real-life scenarios to spark your interest; the "Winning Techniques" provide detailed thought guidance and solutions for 5-6 examples; the "Strategic Summaries" help you grasp the rules and improve your ability through practice; and the "Warm-Up Drills" include exercises to enhance your problem-solving skills and competition level. At the end of each book, there are three "Climb to Champion" comprehensive tests.
Additionally, this series emphasizes hierarchy, thoughtfulness, openness, and fun, which is beneficial for cultivating students' innovative awareness and practical abilities. We sincerely hope that all math enthusiasts will love this series, train diligently, and bravely strive for the top. As long as you work hard, you will surely win and become a little champion of the Mathematical Olympiad. Wishing you success!
