Publishing Date: 2005-06-01
Features: This book is designed to accompany "New Target English" Goforit Book 3. The exercises are created around the language points in each unit of the student book and come in a variety of forms. The book focuses on reinforcing foundational knowledge while also including more advanced exercises for intermediate to upper-intermediate learners. According to Section 4, Paragraph 2 of the "English Curriculum Standards," "This curriculum advocates task-based teaching methods, guiding students to achieve task goals through perception, experience, practice, and collaboration under the teacher's guidance." What is a "task-based" teaching method, and how can it be reflected in evaluation and testing? This is a topic currently being discussed by many educators. Today, we have written this exercise book and have accumulated some teaching experience to share with everyone for reference. During the writing process, we paid attention to organically combining the principles of development and expansion, thoughtfulness and interest, flexibility and openness. Most exercises are closely related to students' daily lives. Through practicing vocabulary, grammar, and applying their existing language knowledge, students can describe their real lives and express their genuine feelings. This enables students to not only master language knowledge but also flexibly use it to complete various tasks, further strengthening their comprehensive language skills. The book consists of 12 units, a mid-term test, and an answer key, making it suitable for use in the second semester of the first year of junior high school.
