Features: "Mathematics is the gate and key to all sciences." Mathematics is the foundation for the development of all sciences. A large number of young students should build a solid mathematical foundation in class and learn a bit of Olympic mathematics outside of class, which is very important for improving scientific and cultural literacy and future development. In recent years, mathematical olympiad competitions, primary school mathematical application and exploration ability competitions, and Hua Luogeng Mathematical Golden Cup competitions have attracted a large number of math enthusiasts to participate enthusiastically. Although the transition from primary to junior high school has largely eliminated entrance exams, many foreign language schools and key middle schools still use students' competition awards as an important basis for assessing quality. The English listening tests or comprehensive ability tests and interviews required for selecting into excellent middle schools all include a certain number of olympic math questions, showing that mathematical ability remains an important aspect in measuring students' comprehensive qualities. To meet the needs of a large number of primary school students learning olympic math, we have hired teachers with years of experience in olympiad tutoring and significant achievements to write this series of "Math Olympiad Little Champions" books for young readers. The purpose is to help math enthusiasts enhance their interest, conduct systematic training, build a solid foundation, and improve their competition skills. Currently, there are many mathematical competition tutoring books available, but this series has its own unique features:
- Synchronized with textbooks. Based on the new curriculum standards and the corresponding new edition textbooks, each grade has its own book. While students master the basic knowledge in class, they can also learn some olympic math, deepening and enhancing their foundational knowledge.
- Convenient for self-study. According to the knowledge system in the textbook of the current grade, each book includes 25-28 topics. In each topic, the "Coach's Notes" introduce real-life examples to spark your interest; the "Winning Techniques" provide detailed thought guidance and solutions for 5-6 example problems; the "Tactical Summaries" help you grasp the rules and improve your ability through practice; and the "Warm-Up Drills" include exercises to enhance your problem-solving skills and competition level. At the end of each book, there are three "Climb to Champion" comprehensive tests. Additionally, the content of this series emphasizes hierarchy, thoughtfulness, openness, and fun, which is beneficial for cultivating students' innovative awareness and practical abilities.
We sincerely hope that all math enthusiasts will love this series, train diligently, and bravely climb the mountain. As long as you work hard, you are sure to win and become a little champion in the Mathematical Olympiad. Wishing you success!
